FrançaisIslamic Finance Training

The IFAAS team has qualified professionals with practical experience in applying Islamic finance principles.  As well as having team members who have IFQ certification we have post graduates in Islamic Finance who are studying for their PhDs.  We have staff accredited to train your employees for the Islamic Finance Qualification (IFQ) from the Securities & Investment Institute

We provide a unique training service which covers a comprehensive area from basic but important internal Islamic codes of practice to specialist Shariah skills.

Some of the courses include:

  • Internal Shariah standards and culture
  • Islamic financial principles (introductory and intermediary levels)
  • Concept and product training – Mudaraba, Murabaha, Ijara, Musharaka, Wakala, Salam, Istisna
  • Understanding the difference between IAS, AAOIFI and IFSB standards.
  • Shariah Auditing
  • Shariah legal documentation
  • Specialised sales training targeting Muslim consumers

Our training courses are tailored to your needs.  We can provide introductory and intermediary courses aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the principles and uses of Shariah compliant financial products in general.  IFAAS also offers programs of a more specialized nature, focusing on specific Islamic products or markets and explain these in more detail. These programs are set at a more advanced level.

If you have a need for training staff in a particular area or topic, we can run an in-house course for you. Programs can be off-the-shelf or can be tailored to your organization's specific requirements.  Customised courses will be to your exact requirements through a consultation process where you will be involved in the deciding the course duration, content and level.

"Capita Insurance Services' partnership with IFAAS, which provides us with a tailored training programme, is essential to our business from both a professional and regulatory viewpoint. The training has been created to ensure that all Capita staff working on our contract with Principle Insurance Holdings (PIH) gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles of the Islamic faith, Islamic finance, Shariah law and Takaful.

Having personally undertaken aspects of the training programme, I am confident that we are better able to serve our client and their customers as a result of utilising IFAAS' expert knowledge in this field.

The response from our teams has also been very positive, and myself and the contract's operations directors look forward to attending further training in the future."
